Me and the amazing technicolor little toe…

Yeah…so this hurts….

Not that I am the kind of girl that would normally take pictures of my toes and post them on the internet….but this was worth sharing.  I taped my toes last night and by 3 am, I was in agony and trying totake the tape off in the dark, half awake.  Grrrrr….no gym for me this week.

In other news….it is February and is supposed to be 72 degrees here.  What the heck?  We got 7 inches of snow last Wednesday…and now it is going to be warm enough for shorts?  I don’t get.  If you don’t like the weather, wait a minute…..

The kids slept again last night, well, at least until 3:30 or so when they woke and wanted a bottle.  So they got diluted juice and water and they were back out until 7 this morning.  Knocking on wood and keeping fingers crossed that this trend continues.

The kids are quietly (well, sort of) playing in baby jail.  Last night, the hubby replaced the batteries in every single noisy toy the kids have.  Oh joy!  They seemed entertained for a couple of minutes then looked at us like….”Nope!….We are gonna freak out here in a hot minute if you don’t find something else to entertain us!”  So, I  went down and got the last of their Christmas presents.  It is the fisher price incrediblock.  (Obviously, this is not a picture of my kids otherwise my RE would have some explaining to do)  But the kids seem to love it.  So that makes me happy.

I am still pissed beyond words about the dingbat in Ca. with the 14 kids……grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.  She is planning on supporting her kids with her student loans, which she will probably default on.  Where is Social Services?  How can you possibly keep a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for 14 kids?  I would love to slap the crap out of her RE!!!!

I hope your toe doesn’t fall off. Good luck.

The story with the 14 kids doesn’t jingle right. I think there must be something about her that we aren’t being told. Wasn’t she single when she got the IVF treatment? What the heck??!!??!

The owie on your toe looks downright painful!!! I hope it heals soon!

I can’t even watch interviews with that Octo-Mom (as the news media is referring to her now)! Her story doesn’t sit right with me. First, she tells Ann Curry how she was struggling to put food on the table for the 6 children she already had, yet when Curry asked her about how she managed to afford this last IVF, she said she was saving every dollar she had specifically for another IVF cycle. HUH? There were some other things that the mom said that had me yelling at the tv!!!!

You heal quick! And that toy looks very cool…my kids would LOVE it!

I haven’t read anything about the crazy IVF mom; I’ve been enraged enough by what I’ve heard on t.v. and the radio. One of these days I’m going to read up on it. I’m just sooooo glad Oprah hasn’t done a show on her yet…but I’m still waiting…

Yikes to the noisy toys! (We rotate our toys so that when the kids get bored we have some new ones!)

p.s. I nominated you for an award on my blog

Oh that toe is broken, for sure. Keep it taped and hold back on exercise for a while. Broken one once when my horse stood on my foot – it is so freeking sore!

I put cheerios or snacks on the “circle thing” on the top of the incrediblock and it entertains my boys for a while! Especially when you make the snacks go round and round 😉

Hope your toes are all better now! That looked pretty bad.
